Pregnant...and glowing...or at least trying to...

A good friend of my sisters is a fantastic photographer. She asked if she could do some maternity pictures with me. To be honest I don't think I was particularly looking forward to having any pictures taken of me in this condition. Fat and ugly. She did such a great job. I think I will really be grateful I have them. Anyway, here are some of them.

I love the baby belly! Anyways It took her several years before she could do it(I think she said it was 6years)so its all in due time. When she did do it she just put a little of everything on it, sweeters,t-shirts, blouses, jackets, pants anything. They have no reason to them, but honestly they are the neatest blankets I have ever seen. Take your time, and do it when you are ready. My neighbor said it also was the cheapest and most rewarding theapy she ever got. She too lost her mom to an "ugly battle of cancer". If you decide one day to do it, and need help I would love to help you lay it out, its fun to keep buttons, zippers and pockets as that is what they love the most as they are little, its as they got older they love the stories. I can't sew worth a darn so thats all I'm good for.

Wow, you look absolutely stunning. Seriously, you should be a maternity model. Not many look that hot while they are preggers. How are you guys? So it's a girl, yeahhh! I wish we still lived closer, I would have loved to get to know you and your sisters more. Keep in touch!!

Shannon, You look so beautiful pregant! Sorry things didnt work out to see you guys this weekend but we thought it was real important to go see todds grandma cuz shes not doing to well and we simply ran out of time! I hope everything is going great with the pregnancy. I know you are more than ready for her to be here but think of all the fun memories your little girl is making with her grandma in heaven! Your mom is preparing her to come to you and teaching her all the things she needs to know! Dont ever feel like your kids have missed out on knowing their grandma becuase they know her better than you can even comprehend! They are lucky to have this time with her! Let us know how everything goes!

I love them! I hated taking pictures of my belly at the moment but I think you will just love them especially when she's Carter's age...unless your prego again by that time! Ü I think you are beautiful and I love your baby bump. You can't even tell you are pregnant from behind! All belly! And it will be so worth it!

Shannon!! It is great to hear from you. I didn't even realize you had a blog...but now that i know..watch out. You have a wonderful family!! And i guess it is growing. I am a lawyer in Wyoming, I tried to get out, but Wyoming keeps dragging me back. i have been married for three and half years, but no kids as of yet. I have way too much debt from school. I was very sad to hear about your mother's passing. She was always very nice to me and had an infectious laugh. She was great to joke around with and was always so welcoming. Tell your dad hello and send our warmest wishes. I hope all is going well for you. Please keep in touch, it is nice to see what old friends are up to...and please do not have any inclinations to return to working at IGA.
