IT'S A GIRL!!!

Last week I had my ultrasound. I was scared half to death. So many things can go wrong. And of course I have been hyperalert of all these defects and paid special attention to the one in a million cases of rare deformaties and such. Anyway, I moved my appt. up like 4 times cause I just couldn't stand it anymore. I was lucky enough to have Jason and my grandma there with me. It was amazing. I forget just how miraculous it is. The baby's legs were crossed so the nurse couldn't determine what the sex was and I had drank so much water I was in tears. See this is why someone else should actually be pregnant and birth the baby...I can't even get the ultrasound without wanting to die from the pain! :) Anyway, out of the blue she said "It's a girl" and I let out this huge YELP! It was one of the most exciting moments of my life. It is one of the very few times in the past 2 years I have felt true happiness. You will all be happy to hear that I am finally excited for this little girl to join our family!...

Oh no...not crossed legs...you know what that means?! Get a second opinion! Just kidding...I'm always the devil's advocate during other's ultrasounds. Its probably because I contributed to the 10% of ultrasounds that said boy and was a girl. I'm just waiting to say "I told you so!" no not really....I am so happy for you to have a girl too! Ours will be bestest friends and can dance together! Congrats again!

Your baby boy is darling, and what a great house you guys just bought! I have a (sort of lame) blog, which I don't update so often: www.inthecrown.blogspot.com or you can always email me. It's so good to hear about what you've been up to! Good luck with the second baby!

Hey Shannon,
it is so hard to loose someone you love and are so very close to... It is still hard but as time goes by it doesn't get easier but its bearable!!!! thats the best way i can explain it. I went through some depression when i lost my sweet melissa i know how hard that was so i can only imagine what you are going through its so hard i know what its like... its so important to have people around you that you can talk to and spend time with. the best thing i could do is stay as busy as i could and it only makes it bearable!!! if you ever need an shoulder to cry on or just get away or talk you can always call me!!!801-652-6148
